The Faculty of Forestry offers excellent courses and cutting edge research across a spectrum of disciplines related to forestry, and opportunities for interdisciplinary learning. The Faculty of Forestry’s Climate Vulnerability and Adaptation (CVA) Micro-Certificate is a flexible 8-week online program that provides forest professionals with an understanding of climate science, vulnerability assessments, adaptation development, and how it is applied to management and business case adaptation.
Co-management of Natural Resources Micro-Certificate – CNR
Designed for Indigenous and non-Indigenous professionals, this program delivers training to advance co-management initiatives, within a natural resource context.
Dual Master’s Degree
In two years, earn a Master of Forestry (MF) degree from UBC and a master’s degree from one of five participating universities in Europe. The TRANSFOR-M (Transatlantic Forestry Master), is a unique dual degree program that offers qualified students the opportunity to explore forestry in both Europe and Canada.
